By the grace of God, we have a wonderful and meaningful memorable event at Concord, California on November 22, 2008.
Churches and Fellowships from San Francisco greater bay area and one from Los Angeles gathered together at Concord for dedication and opening of East Bay Myanmar Christian Fellowship.
East Bay Myanmar Christian Fellowship is one of the fruits of church planting ministry of First Burmese Baptist Church of San Francisco. Moderator Mr. Marshall Kyaw Hein shared the history of church during the service with beautiful slides presentation. Praise team led the congregation vigorously, emotionally and enthusiastically. Everyone enjoyed sang along with them.

Senior pastor of EBMF is Rev. Sammy Myo Sett who has clear focus and vision on the mission of God through this congregation. He has served God many years at Hawaii as pastor till he was called to be pastor at this church. The church is growing under his leadership. Praise the Lord.
Tun Tun Shein was the MC of the event, Rev. Dr. Latt Yishey delivered dedication message "Not by might, nor power, but by my Spirit" based on Zechariah 4:6. Special prayer and dedication
prayer were led by Rev. Zauya Lahpai, Rev. Lone Wah Lazum, and benediction was pronounced by Rev. Harold Ho. Rev. Myo Sett gave an inspired thank you sppeach to everyone. Representatives from churches and fellowship presented gifts and wonderful songs. It was so beautiful to see united in one accord under Lordship of Jesus Christ.
The event concluded with a delicious home cook meal by families of East Bay Myanmar Christian Fellowship. I was over seven years with them as church planting pastor and always appreciate their talents and generosity of cooking in different styles. Each family has their own recipes of specialities. Praise God for gifted families. Worshippers and guests truly enjoy that evening meal with warmest hospitality.
The church is located at 3525 Chestnut Ave. Concord, CA 94519. They regularly meet 6:30 pm on every Sunday.

Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?

Silver Spur Christian Camp Ground, on August 30 to September 1, 2008, was filled with praise songs, joyful noices, lovely smiles, youthful energies, and Spirit-filled fellowship when we celebrated 29th Burmese Christian Family Camp. Campers from eight Churches and Fellowship of Greater San Francisco Bay Area and some guests from Singapore and Burma. God has blessed the camp with powerful manifestation of Holy Spirit among us. Devotions and vesper services were filled with Spirit, Bible studies and seminars inspired many campers, testimonies and sermons empowered the worshippers, and prayers were lifted up to the throne of God. Praise be to our God Almighty!

There were happy people all over the camp ground, kids and swimmers in the pool, thanks to young and dedicated lifeguards Annie Chaw and Cynthie Hui. Recreational team competition was filied with joy and happiness all over the ground. There were games for kids, youth, adult, and for all ages. Thanks to all dedicated leaders.

This year, we have a very special program for young people under the theme, Here I am! "Enabling Grace Within You." They were enrgetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated for entire program in every area. The camp commitee welcomed three youth leaders, Nathan Choo, Htoi Lahpai, and Emily Chow as youth representatives to be part of planning and visioning for the future family camps and revival meetings. Children's activities were always making everyone proud and happy. Volunteered and dedicated teachers for these children have done exellence job for our kids this year.

Camp committee and leaders of this year had done great job for the camp to be a successful one. Thank God for these dedicated leaders who served God through this family camp. Nightly combined programs were filled with joyful noices and uncontrorable laugh because of talented people entertaining in popular programs such as, improntus, talent show, team competitions, drama, camp news, and stageshow with professional-like musicians. These programs motivated many people to decide to come back again and again to the camp. All five teams, APOSTLE, MISSIONARY, REVIVALIST, EVANGELIST, PASTOR and talented individuals went home with gifts and awards. Most importantly, campers this year went home with answer to God's great commission by saying, "Hear am I! Send me."
